Fund Raising: "Bus Trips Beat the Shit Out of a Bake Sale"

First of all, I want to say thank you to everyone who has taken a bus trip with us. Somehow that thing is a magnet for the chillest people on the face of the planet. No matter what show we're headed to, or even if it's just parked on the side of the road, I end up meeting people who blow my mind with their amazingness. Much love to all who have and will support TBF in this way. And to think, I could be out trying to sell World's Finest Chocolate for a dollar a bar to get this charity off the ground. Lame. So, here's the deal. Things are going really well with the bus. I've got 23 shows scheduled for September, if I can do this consistently, and get the bus full for every show, we will be able to fund between 40 and 50 artists. So please, spread the word. Any time you do anything, see if the bus is available. Feel free to suggest events. If you can give me some notice, and can help me fill the thing up, I will most likely be down to do it. Also, based on current enthusiasm levels, it seems as though we're going to be putting together quite a few benefit shows in the near future. So, keep your eye on that events calendar. Also, if you want to be on the mailing list, I guess it's about time that I put one of those together, so send me an email saying that you want in, and it will come to pass.
